Founded in 2009 by Elias Romanos, Alexis Danelian and Victor Maalouf, the Cargotrans group is a freight forwarder, in particular by sea, with activities in mainland France, Dubai and Qatar.

This acquisition, completed on 28 January 2020, is in line with the external growth strategy of LV Overseas, particularly in the Middle East region. The LV Overseas group’s consolidated sales will reach €183 million in 2020.

The corporate and M&A team advising the Cargotrans group for this transaction was led by Laetitia Amzallag (partner) and Emmanuelle Bouton (associate) assisted by Marine Pelletier-Capes (partner) on the tax aspects of the transaction.

LV Overseas was advised by Hogan Lovells in Paris (Stéphane Huten, Florian Brechon, Sophie Han, Fanny Perié and Laurent Ragot).
