5 September 2018 – Vivien & Associés successfully advised Neovia on the sale of its Animal Health division to Huvepharma.
Neovia is a subsidiary of French cooperative group InVivo and specializes in animal nutrition. Huvepharma is a global pharmaceutical company with a focus on developing, manufacturing and marketing human and animal health products.
The transaction included the sale of Qalian (Segré, France), Laboratoire Meriel (Saint Etienne, France), Qalian Portugal (Lisbon, Portugal) and Qalian Italia (Capri, Italy). These companies, which represent Neovia’s Animal Health division, focus on livestock animals. Qalian is a leading player in France and abroad, providing customers with veterinary drugs, medicated premix, animal dietetics, and hygiene solutions.
