October 3, 2023 – Vivien & Associés advises Motul on its equity investment in GCK
Vivien & Associés, represented by Julien Koch (partner) and Mathilde Hanau (associate), advised Motul on its equity investment in Green Corp Konnection (GCK).
Motul is a company specialized in the production of high-performance lubricants for engines and the industry. GCK is an industrial group, based in Savoie and Auvergne, specializing in low-carbon mobility. Both groups have been working together to explore innovative technological solutions since 2022.
This strategic investment will enable the two groups to expand their collaboration through joint R&D and marketing operations. One significant milestone will be the display, at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, of an immersion battery developed by Motul and GCK, and of a Jeep Cherokee Chief equipped with a retrofitted hydrogen-powered engine. The display of these technologies will demonstrate the synergies of the two groups and their shared vision that there are many ways to accelerate transport decarbonization.
