1st January, 2021 – Two new partners at Vivien & Associés: Flora Pitti-Ferrandi partner Competition and Distribution, and Julie Tchaglass partner M&A.
Flora Pitti-Ferrandi is a recognized expert in EU and French Competition and Distribution Law. She heads the department with the support of an associate.
Flora’s practice covers all aspects of EU and French competition law, including merger control, investigations and proceedings involving anti-competitive practices (such as cartels, concerted practices, and abuse of dominant position), state aids, cooperation agreements, and distribution issues (vertical restraints). She also deals with issues relating to restrictive practices and unfair competition.
She acts for French and foreign clients in a broad range of sectors and represents them before competition authorities (French competition authority and European Commission) as well as civil, commercial or administrative courts.
Flora joined Vivien & Associés in January 2021 after 10 years at Weil, Gotshal & Manges (2010-2020), where she was Counsel since January 2020.
Julie Tchaglass becomes partner after two years as a senior associate in the Corporate/M&A team, which now numbers eight partners and eleven associates.
Her practice focuses on international mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions including leveraged acquisitions (LBOs), capital investment, joint-ventures, and general corporate and commercial assistance, representing French and foreign buyers and sellers (whether listed or unlisted) and private equity institutions.
Prior to joining the firm’s corporate / M&A department as a senior associate in 2018, Julie worked in the Paris offices of Olswang (2012-2015) and Latham & Watkins (2015-2018).
