January 7, 2025 – Vivien & Associés advised Giorgio Guerra on the management buy-in (MBI) acquisition of Cup Service, a Lyon-based specialist in workplace coffee, vending and refreshment solutions.

This transaction enables the transfer of Cup Service to Giorgio Guerra, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the coffee and vending sector, alongside Origine Partners, which has acquired a majority stake in the company. The historical shareholders, Didier Trouche and Loïc Bocqueret, are supporting the handover after decades of growth.

Founded in 1968 and headquartered near Lyon, Cup Service operates approximately 1,900 vending machines, a fleet of around 1,000 Office Coffee System machines and more than 700 water fountains, serving large corporates, public administrations and institutions. The company generates close to €8 million in revenue and employs over 50 people.

This transaction represents a key milestone for Cup Service, supporting its ambitions to accelerate growth in the Office Coffee System segment, develop premium service offerings focused on workplace well-being.

As part of this operation, Vivien & Associés advised Giorgio Guerra on all corporate, tax, and social aspects of the transaction.
